On 24^th August 2021, Cabinet Secretary Hon. Betty Maina announced via media statement that virtual consultations held with USTR Katherine Tai underlined the two countries’ commitment to resuming engagement on their trade relationship, towards the conclusion of a ‘predictable trade agreement’.
